- I am the daughter of a person living with crohns disease. I grew up having hypoglycemia and was later diagnosed to have IBS. My uncle has Celiac Sprue, my aunt has Diverticulitous, my grandfather had colon cancer, and I currently have a cousin with both Celiac and Crohns. I have a little one who has been undergoing tests. My little one has had a hydascan, colonoscopy with biopsies, and an endoscopy with biopsies plus more. We still do not have a diagnosis, but they are treating her as someone with food allergies or sensitivies. It has been my experience to see people diagnosed with different digestive disorders have a sense of hopelessness because they don't know what to make. Everything they can think of has something in it they can not have. My hope is to help people find ways to make the foods that they enjoy. To give them hope when they feel hopelessness. I don't want others to strugle as we have.
